I’ve been trying to find an image of Adam Yauch (AKA MCA) ever since I heard he’d died. I was a big fan of the Beasites and I’m going to miss their music. Here he is rocking a Hasselblad.

Los Angeles, 1998: I was in L.A., and the Beastie Boys were playing there, and I called to ask if I could go to the show. And their manager said, “Yeah — as a matter of fact, could you spend a little time with them before the show and maybe shoot some pictures?” And I shoot with a lot of different cameras, so I have a whole pile of cameras sitting behind me. So [Adam] Yauch said, “Lemme see that Hasselblad.” I thought he was just gonna check it out, and he turned it on me. I should run the one he took of me and this one.

This year is great because everything has a new meaning in my life. Mothers Day has always been a important day in my life because it’s another day to recognize my mom for all the great stuff she does for our family. This year I have a son of my own he is the best thing to happen to but this day is about the mothers. Happy Mothers Day S.E.T (lol) I can’t say how much I appreciate her and all she does for me and our son. Without hesitation she does whatever it takes for baby boy and has sacrificed countless hours in making sure he’s good to go. Thank You and HAPPY FIRST MOTHERS DAY!!!!
